Are spikeless golf shoes as good as spiked?
For most golfers, on most courses, yes. Spikeless shoes have closed the performance gap considerably. The exception is genuinely wet, hilly or soft terrain, where spiked shoes still have the edge on grip.
Can I wear spikeless golf shoes off the course?
That's one of their biggest advantages — most spikeless golf shoes, like the Puma Avant 2.0 or adidas Codechaos above, are designed to look at home in the clubhouse or on the street, not just the fairway.
Do private clubs still require spikes?
